Singer/songwriter Cody Glenn Cox, who was born and raised in southeast Oklahoma, is a rising star in country music. His music has been heavily influenced by artists such as Waylon Jennings, Keith Whitley, and Cody Jinks. With over 100,000 streams and millions of views across platforms, Cody has garnered a growing fanbase across the globe, touching the hearts of thousands with his music. Additionally, he was a quarter-finalist in America's Next Top Hitmaker 2024.
His most recent project “Beer Talkin” released to all music streaming platforms on Memorial Day Weekend, 2025. This fun, summertime song is filled with upbeat, cheerful lyrics and melodies that capture the carefree and joyful spirit of summer.
Cody was forced to put his music dream to a halt, though, in early 2023, when he fell severely ill and ended up in the hospital with a collapsed lung. He recalls the emotional journey as the wake up call needed to finally pursue his music career. Cody is both a singer and a songwriter, with most of his songs being about first hand experiences in his lifetime. His first single, “Landline” was released on Father’s Day in 2023 in remembrance of his late Father. He reminds his fanbase to enjoy those that you love while they’re still here, because you don’t know how much time you’ve got left. He released “Daddy’s Girl” on his daughters birthday in 2024 to explain the love between him and his daughter.
Cody has had the opportunity to open up for some iconic country music artists like Whey Jennings, Walker Montgomery, and Joe Stamm. His fans can look forward to Cody touring across the United States and many more heartfelt singles to be released in 2025.
